I thought I should share my review on two aluminum free deodorants. For those that don't know, aluminum based deodorants have been linked to breast cancer.

The LAVANILA Sport Luxe deoranant ($16) is free of free of harsh chemicals,paragons, sulfates, phthalates, aluminum, silicone, petrochemicals, propylene glycol, mineral oil, formaldehyde, and synthetic fragrance or dyes. It claims to be long lasting and high performance but I did not experience that. I was legit scared to even walk around the city without ... well... smelling. It did not last me the entire day and DEFINITELY did not hold up for a workout. Smells good initially, but it just did not do it for me at all.

The tarte Clean Queen Vegan deodorant ($14) is free of parabens, phthalates, aluminum, alcohol, soy, and gluten. Smells great and held more way better than the LAVANILA, however, definitely not a game changer. I have to reapply before a workout.

Overall, I prefer the tarte Clean Queen deodorant over the LAVANILA.
